Situated at 14 km from Constanta, the resort is famous for the sapropelic mud, a mud that has special therapeutic properties, which is extracted from the Techirghiol Lake. The resort is actually surrounded by two natural health “tanks” – the salty water of the Black Sea and the Techirghiol Lake. This area succeedes in harmoniously mingling opportunities for tourists to seek entertainment and therapeutic baths.

Lying in the middle of a huge natural park, Eforie Nord is a special place. The beach, having an impressive length of 4 km, is protected by 6 dams which make it look like a foamy lace which borders the bluish-greenish sea water. Similar to the other seaside resorts, the beach is wide (50-80 m), and has soft sand and the passing towards the water is very smooth. An evening walk on the spectacular waterfront, reaching 25m height in certain places, will make you feel the strongly ozonized air and the natural aerosols brought by the cool breeze.

In addition, the numerous shows for children which take place here during summer, the theme parks and the playing grounds, which are not scarce make Eforie Nord an appropriate vacation spot for a family with children.

In Eforie Nord there are two health treatment centers, one being a clinic of the Balneal-physiological and Medical Recovery Institute called Efosan, while the second – Ana Aslan Health Spa belongs to the hotel chain. The two centers work throughout the whole year and if you want to avoid the summer rush, you can come here during spring, in autumn, and even in winter.
